These pages explain design intent and scientific background. They are not step-by-step recipes. Read them when a metric name or a fairness claim needs more context than a how-to page can give.

Why explanation pages exist

A bake-off that freezes demodulation and splits is easy to describe in one sentence and easy to break in practice. Bit order mistakes look like bad models. Analytical LUT counts look like board guarantees if you do not read the caveats. Logical error curves look like device truth if you forget the noise model. These pages exist so those traps are documented next to the procedural guides rather than only in code comments.
